The Gutter RDP Athlete of the Week for February 20, 2024

This past weekend, six-foot-two outside hitter Zach Neufeld was a key contributor in the RDP Kings Volleyball team’s three set sweep over the Olds College Broncos (25-20, 25-17 and 25-16). In the final regular season match, Zach had six kills with an impressive 0.67 hitting percentage. The Business Administration General Management student added seven digs, one block and one of the team’s four aces in the road victory. For his outstanding performance, Zach was named the Kings Player of the Game.

With the win, the Red Deer Polytechnic Kings Volleyball team (16-3) solidified first place in the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) Men’s Volleyball South Division. On Thursday, February 22, the RDP Kings will play The King’s University Eagles in their first match at the ACAC Championship in Olds.
