Boston Pizza RDP Athlete of the Week for January 19, 2026

Setter Evan Mah played a key role in helping the Red Deer Polytechnic Kings Volleyball team defeat the Briercrest College Clippers twice this past weekend. In Friday’s three-set win (25-14, 25-19 and 25-16), Calgary’s Mah contributed 22 assists, three digs, two stuff blocks and two kills.

On Saturday, Mah, an Open Studies student, totaled 25 assists, four digs and two kills in the Kings’ sweep over the Clippers (25-17, 25-19 and 25-18). He was named the North Star Sports Kings Player of the Game for running an effective offence.

The first-place Red Deer Polytechnic Kings (10-2) will compete against the Olds College Broncos on Friday, January 23.
