Boston Pizza RDP Athlete of the Week for November 3, 2025

Jailyn Bablitz had an outstanding weekend, helping the Red Deer Polytechnic Queens Hockey team earn back-to-back victories over the Medicine Hat College Rattlers. Bablitz, a fifth-year student-athlete from Valleyview, scored in overtime in RDP’s 3-2 victory against the Rattlers on Friday.

On Saturday, Bablitz, a Bachelor of Education student, scored the lone goal in the shootout which propelled the Queens to a 2-1 win over the Rattlers. The RDP Queens (7-2) rank first in Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) Women’s Hockey.

Bablitz and the Queens will face-off against the Olds College Broncos on November 6 and 7.
