Bio
Ado (Admir) Sarcevic has a substantial background in soccer. Soccer has been a part of his life for over 45 years. He has played at the highest levels of soccer in Ex-Yugoslavia, and Europe.
Prior to immigrating to Canada in 1994, he was a professional soccer player in Ex-Yugoslavia, and in Denmark playing for the following clubs, to name a few: Vojvodina-Novi Sad, Borac-Banja Luka, Novi Pazar, Prespa-Denmark. In Canada, he played for Bosnia in Calgary, Red Deer Rangers, and Bosnian-Canadians in Red Deer. He has won many MVP titles and best scorer/striker trophies for all of the years of actively playing.
Since Ado’s arrival in Canada, he has played an integral role in building soccer community and developing youth soccer here in Red Deer, and Alberta. He coached at RDSCA (U12 to U18); he established Renegades S.C. and served as its Technical Director for over 10 years; served as a Soccer Operation Manager with Red Deer City Soccer Association for 6 years; he coached Renegades AMSL women’s team for 2 seasons and was an assistant coach with RDC Kings for 2 seasons.
Ado was a catalyst in bringing Renegades S.C. under the umbrella of RDCSA, as a competitive option for youth to enhance their skills and talents through higher level of playing and coaching; he designed and implemented programs to give all players a fair and equal opportunity to grow as soccer players. Ado also has done an extensive work in building soccer coaching staff here in Red Deer.
He has won 3 Provincial titles with Renegades U-18 boys’ teams.
Ado is currently a coach with US Soccer Education that works in collaboration with Bosnian National Soccer Association in identifying, developing, and managing soccer players who wish to progress to college or professional careers.
He lives in Red Deer with his wife, Sanela, of 28 years while his 21-year old son, Ajdin, is away in Europe building his soccer career.
Ado possesses all levels of NCCP coaching certificates and Provincial B licence.
