Boston Pizza RDP Athlete of the Week for October 20, 2025

Arilyn Toews had a strong weekend on the ice, helping the Red Deer Polytechnic Queens Hockey team earn a victory over the SAIT Trojans. In Friday’s 2-1 win, the talented fifth-year forward evened the game up about halfway through the game. Then Toews scored the game-winning goal at 8:37 of the third period.

Despite the Queens dropping Saturday’s rematch 3-1, Toews put forth another good effort.

Toews, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing student from Wembley, sits third in ACAC goal scoring with three.

Next, Toews and the RDP Queens will play the NAIT Ooks.
