Disotell-Dunsmore records second consecutive shutout, Soyko scores three as Queens blank Trojans
Calgary, AB - It's hard to design a better start to an Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) hockey career than what Queens first-year goaltender Tanya Disotell-Dunsmore has demonstrated.
After earning a 3-0 shutout victory over the Olds College Broncos in her first ACAC start, the Bachelor of Science Pre-Professional - Optometry student turned aside all 19 shots in a 4-0 blanking of the SAIT Trojans. The victory improved Tanya Disotell-Dunsmore's record to a perfect 2-0 over a pair of starts, along with a league leading 0.00 goals against average and 1.000 save percentage.

It was also a big night for another Queens' rookie. Prince Albert's Alli Soyko had a hat trick, scoring once in the first period and twice in the final frame. Monica Bowtell potted Red Deer Polytechnic's second goal at 17:01 of the second period. It was her first in the ACAC.
