Bio

Darren Graham is returning for his fourth year as Head Coach with the Kings Basketball program. He moved to Red Deer in the summer of 2019 with his wife and 4 children to take on the privledge of coaching the notorious RDC Kings Basketball program. Darren's collegiate basketball journey started with the RDC Kings in 1996-97 as a student-athlete. In his 1997-98 season, the Kings won the ACAC Championship.

Darren went on to play 2 more ACAC seasons with the Concordia University of Edmonton basketball team where he earned a Bachelor of Science. He later earned a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta. Darren taught and coached with Edmonton Public Schools at Millwoods Christian School where he coached the High School team to 6 straight Provincial appearances and 2 medals.

Darren also found himself back with Concordia Unversity of Edmonton, from 2015-19, as an Assistant Coach . He gained valuable experience from Head Coach Reagan Wood and the multiple medal winning teams from Concordia.

Darren currently teaches High School Math & Science with Red Deer Public Schools. He is currently taking his Advanced Coaching Diploma with the National Sport Institute. He is excited about continuing a program of excellence with RDC Kings basketball moving into the 2020-21 season and beyond.
