16th Annual RDC Kings & Queens Athletics Scholarship Breakfast

16th Annual RDC Kings & Queens Athletics Scholarship Breakfast

Join us for the 16th Annual RDC Kings & Queens Athletics Scholarship Breakfast on April 10, 2019 in the Performance Gymnasium at the Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre.  This incredible facility is home for the Kings and Queens and is used by athletes on all 17 of our teams for training, strength and conditioning and competition.

The Centre gives us the opportunity to create two types of tickets for this event, enabling even more of our supporters to attend.  Table seating tickets include the opportunity to interact with and be served by our student-athletes as you enjoy breakfast with Cheryl in the Performance Gymnasium prior to her presentation.  These tickets are only $75 until February 22 and table seats are limited.

Bleacher seats are available for the program portion of the event and do not include breakfast.  These tickets are $30 each and discounts are available for groups of 5 or more.

Cheryl Bernard

We're thrilled to welcome two-time Olympian and Olympic silver medalist Cheryl Bernard to deliver the keynote speech at the RDC Kings & Queens Athletics Scholarship Breakfast.  Cheryl has been recognized for many achievements, but is best known for her curling accomplishments.  In 2010, she helped Canada win a silver medal in curling at the Vancouver Olympic Games.  In 2016, Bernard was inducted into the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame for her curling accomplishments and the many ways she has given back to the sport and community.

Passionate about motivating others to reach their goals and stressing the importance of great leadership and teamwork, Bernard's powerful presentation will draw from both her business and sport experiences to inspire the audience to achieve greatness in everything they do.  Her keynote on April 10, You Hold the Pen, will encourage audiences to write the story of their own lives, with intention.  Her presentation is sure to resonate with athletes and sport enthusiasts, community builders and business leaders, members of the curling community, entrepreneurs and more.

How would our stories change if we realized we are the author?
