Conference play for RDC teams has wrapped up for 2018 but there will be some intriguing exhibition games in late December. The RDC Kings Volleyball team will host the Kings Christmas Tournament from December 28-30, featuring some of the top men's volleyball teams from across the nation as a prelude to the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Men's Volleyball National Championship from March 6-9, 2019 at the Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre.

The Fanshawe Falcons (Ontario Colleges Athletic Association), Keyano College Huskies (Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference), Limoilou Titans (Réseau du sport étudiant du Québec) and Vancouver Island University (VIU) of the Pacific Western Athletic Association (PacWest) will be competing in the tournament.

For convenience, tickets to the Kings Christmas Tournament can be purchased online and they would make a great gift for any sports fan.

The Red Deer College Queens Basketball team will participate in the North-South Challenge Tournament in Edmonton, from December 28-29.
