Queens Hockey | Thursday, October 5 | 7:00 p.m. | ENMAX Centrium

The Red Deer College Queens Hockey team will play the MacEwan University Griffins in their home opener. Queens Head Coach Kelly Coulter is very pleased with the group that he has assembled. "We have 15 out of 25 members on our roster who are rookies, so there will be a lot of teaching this year, but they are a very coachable group and they think the game very well," said Coulter. "We are fortunate with the group of student-athletes who will take the lead on the ice and in the dressing room. They bring a wealth of experience to our team. I think we have the right group shaping the next generation of Queens Hockey players."
